Hello, there! I’m Alex, a Content and Narrative Designer with a degree in Media Studies and a Master’s in Screenwriting for TV and Cinema. After five years working in marketing and media-related roles, I decided to take a turn in my professional career and pursue my true passion: storytelling and video games.

I’ve loved video games since I was a kid, and to this day, I still remember the feeling of playing on my cousin’s chunky Game Boy for the first time. Prince of Persia really blew my mind! Since then, I’ve gravitated toward games that offer story-driven adventures and rich narratives—probably because of my lifelong love for fiction and storytelling.

Now, I have over four years of experience in the video game industry. During this time, I’ve had the pleasure of working on titles such as Monopoly GO!, Tuscany Villa, and Crisol: Theater of Idols.

Thanks to my background, I have a solid understanding of narrative design—both in traditional media like film and in interactive formats like video games. My experience in marketing has also taught me to always keep audiences in mind, understanding their desires, expectations, and emotional journeys.

1. Monopoly GO! x Star Wars

Seasonal themed campaing.

Second brand collaboration within the Monopoly GO! universe with a seasonal campaign themed after Disney’s Star Wars universe.

- Narrative design of the seasonal campagin theme and story along with the Content Design team in collaboration with Disney stakeholders.
- Crafting and designing the live events, mini-games, albums and vanity items.
- Ownership of the Star Wars Album feature: overall narrative and content of each pack and stickers. Close collaboration with the Director of Content and the Art Directors to ensure narrative cohesion.
- Content and narrative design of the minigames within this campaign: ‘Pod Racers’,  ‘Rebel Racers’, ‘Jedi’, ‘Star Wars, ‘Hyperspace’ Partners Events, ‘Tatooine’, ‘Jawa’ and ‘Tusken’ Treasures. 
- Content design of the vanity iteams (shields and tokens).




2.  Monopoly GO! x Marvel

- Content and narrative design of the minigames within this campaign: Avengers Racers, Amazing Partners Event, and Guardians of the Galaxy Treasures Event. 
- Content design of the vanity iteams (shields and tokens).




3.  Monopoly GO!

Social PVP mobile based on the famous board game, Monopoly.

- Content and narrative design for the Monopoly GO! world.
- Brainstorm new content for features, albums, vanity items, world maps, minigames and live-ops events.
- Crafting the game’s lore, as well as new characters.
- Develop and maintain lore bible.
- Colaborate with other departments to ensure narrative/content cohesion and to develop narrative design documents (specially with art, animation, and monetization).
- Lead brainstorming meetings.
- Write in-game copy, including features texts, stickers names and push notifications. 
- Review Live Ops Campaigns One-Pagers to ensure its coherence with the world and its narrative.
- Ensure content is in line with the franchise brand.
- Track content deliverables using JIRA and Wrike.
- Work with the Community team to brainstorm and craft content for social media platforms.  





4. Tuscany Villa

F2P match-3 mobile game, story-driven and heavy narrative with home and decor design that takes place in the Toscana region.

- Designing the game's story, building story arcs.
- Narrative design including story beats and dialogue.
- Supervising and editing the writers team to ensure the scripts direction.
- Content design for the missions or tasks (decor missions and areas).

- Crafting new characters with their story arcs througout the chapsters, as well as character sheets in collaboration with art to ensure narrative cohesion.

- Work with the Community team to brainstorm and craft content for social media platforms.  




5. Crisol: Theather of Idols

A unique first-person horror adventure for consoles and computer, where folklore and religion intertwine in a nightmarish version of Spain.

- Narrative design including story beats, narrative puzzles and dialogue.
- Crafting character sheets.
- Writing in-game texts like items descriptions, barks, cinematics and missions dialogue.
- Worldbuilding in collaboration with Game Designers and stakeholders.  
- Collaborate with different teams (level designers, game designers, artists, animators, etc.) to ensure the correct integration of all narrative elements.




6. Arkheim: Realms at war

RTS, 4X Strategy, PvP battles and MMO game for web and mobile.

- Community Management of the Spanish Forum and the Spanish Discord channel.
